A Massachusetts based organization, Stop Drunk Driving Now (SDDN), is using music to reach out to young people across the country to help spread their message.

The “Kids Saving Kids” drunk driving prevention campaign is the first program of its kind.

Through the “Kids Saving Kids” compilation CD, the group is promoting their ideals while showcasing young artists from across the country. They are currently looking for 50 talented musicians to feature on their next CD. Artists must be 18 years of age or younger, have one recorded original song to submit and want to make a difference with their music.

SDDN uses the Internet and music as a vehicle to raise awareness about drunk driving prevention to young people.

The CD campaign is the brainchild of Becca Levy, a 13-year-old singer from Washington, D.C. Levy wanted to use her music to get a positive message out to America’s youth.

“Hundreds of kids die and are injured every week due to drunk driving car crashes and every accident is 100 percent avoidable,” Levy posts on her Web site.

Submissions will be accepted until the end of March and the new CD will be digitally released this summer.

Submissions can be sent to: ksksubmit@stopddnow.com and Becca can be found at www.beccalevy.com.
